Wakefield, situated deep in industrial West Yorkshire, has successfully remodelled itself as the centre of the Yorkshire Sculpture Triangle.
Wakefield Council is increasing its investment in culture to cement Wakefield's growing reputation as a leading cultural tourism destination in Yorkshire. The Council has put aside £100,000 a year for the next three years to invest in the Yorkshire Sculpture Triangle initiative.
