Birmingham’s Drum arts centre to close

Newtown Cultural Project Ltd, the organisation that runs The Drum, has agreed to go into liquidation. Events at the arts centre will go ahead as planned until June 2016, and Arts Council England said it would work with the local council to maintain investment in the area.
