Cinema chain pulls out of Brighton Hippodrome redevelopment

The Brighton Hippodrome site has been sold to a landlord who will not be proceeding with plans to turn it into a cinema. The Our Brighton Hippodrome campaign group has welcomed the news, saying this should “make a theatre the default option now”.
