ENO dispute: chorus plans to strike

In a ballot held by Equity, 42 out of 44 chorus members – all of those present – voted to strike during the first act of a performance of Akhnaten on 18 March. This comes in response to the organisation’s plan to cut chorus pay by 25% and make four of its permanent members redundant.
