Funders dig deep as cost of V&A Dundee almost doubles

The Scottish Government, Dundee City Council and Heritage Lottery Fund have pledged an additional £21m to the project that is now expected to cost around £81m, almost double the original £45m budget. Ministers have been told to “get a grip on the spiralling cost”.
