Tower Bridge is a working bascule bridge, leading events venue and iconic visitor attraction, attracting c.950,000 visitors each year and providing venues for c.200 events. It is one of five bridges owned and maintained by City Bridge Foundation, a charitable London funder, which distributes over £30M per year to charitable causes across the capital.

In the Associate Director Tower Bridge in Motion, Tower Bridge seeks an inspirational, ambitious, innovative individual, who will play a key role in designing and implementing a groundbreaking, socially impactful and sector-leading development plan, delivering it in a way that is consistent with the City Bridge Foundation’s Bridging London strategy and wider ambition for the Tower Bridge Visitor Attraction to be a global exemplar amongst visitor attractions in social value and impact.

Tower Bridge want to hear from you if you are: 

  • a cultural entrepreneur and strategic innovator with a background of working in heritage and visitor attractions 
  • experienced in developing and implementing strategy in cultural organisations
  • someone who can effectively create and deliver a sector-leading change programme, working with a range of colleagues
  • experienced in delivering within budgets, managing external partnerships and writing business cases
  • comfortable operating at senior levels in complex organisations
  • understand how to effectively execute audience development, visitor experience and engagement and 
  • excited to share in commitment to the mission and charitable purposes of Tower Bridge and the City Bridge Foundation, especially in EDI, sustainability and climate change and STEAM learning
