PROFESSOR SIMEON YATES has been appointed as Director of the Institute of Cultural Capital. He is the former Director of Cultural, Communication and Computing Research Institute (C3RI) at Sheffield Hallam University, and has previously worked at the Open University and the University of Leeds.
The Ticket Factory has appointed three e-commerce and ticketing experts. ROB WILLIAMS who was previously at Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena joins as Operations Director, GAIL WEBB has been appointed as Consumer Sales and Marketing Director, and KELLY WHITEHEAD is the new Client Services Director and formerly worked for organisations such as Avalon, lastminute.com, AEG Live and Mean Fiddler.

Sir Anthony Caro OM, CBE, has died following a sudden heart attack on Wednesday 23 October.
JACKIE MCNERNEY is joining the Mayor of London’s Culture team as Cultural Strategy Manager. She has previously worked at the Manchester International Festival and Lyric Theatre Hammersmith, and has more recently been Chief Operating Officer at the Serpentine Gallery.
ANDREW AUGHTON has left his role as Chief Executive at Buxton Opera House after 15 years in post. He said: “Fifteen years in the same role has been a huge pleasure and privilege.”
