Festival Artistic Director (Freelance)

Brighton Early Music Festival is seeking a creative and visionary artistic director to continue the festival’s key aim of making music from the past 1000 years relevant and exciting for audiences of today.

Founded in 2002 by current Artistic Director Deborah Roberts BEM and co-founder Clare Norburn, Brighton Early Music Festival is one of the largest and most progressive early music festivals in the UK and is seen as a leading force in the early music world. The festival has a well-deserved reputation for being welcoming and approachable for both artists and audiences alike, and for the innovation and creativity of its programming.

This is a freelance role, amounting to around 60 days work per annum at a daily rate of £200-300, dependent on experience and skills.
