SARAH FRANKCOM has stepped down as Director of London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), as an internal investigation into her management style begins.
A letter addressed to the school's board said that since Frankcom’s appointment in November 2019, the school had been “characterised by a large number of resignations”.
The drama school says it will carry out a “full and fair” inquiry into allegations made by current and former staff members.
The board noted its appreciation for Frankcom's work at the school and confirmed the search for a new director is under way.
