NEIL PEPLOW will become London Film School’s (LFS) Director and CEO in January 2023.

His appointment follows the departure of former Director, GISLI SNAER, in May. Peplow will take over from Interim Director PETER HOLLIDAY, who stepped down from Governor of the Board to temporarily lead LFS.

Holliday will now resume his role as Governor.

A former Chief Executive of the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, Peplow is currently Director of International and Industry Affairs at the British Film Institute.

Chairman of the Board of Governors, GREG DYKE, said the entire board is confident Peplow has the experience and vision to modernise the school and to build on LFS’ strengths to develop the next generation of filmmaking talent and skills.

“London Film School’s reputation as being a space for creative excellence and developing talent that has informed cinema worldwide is well known and respected globally,” Peplow said.

“What is key going forward is to build on this reputation. I believe my experience in industry and education will enable me to help the school to do this.”
