Carolyn Forsyth is executive director and joint CEO at Talawa Theatre Company.
Forsyth has 20 years’ experience as a producer and arts manager including senior roles in theatre, youth-focused initiatives, outdoor site-specific productions, international touring and festivals.
A passionate advocate for social justice and inclusive cultural leadership, Forsyth is an active member of the Inclusive Arts Alliance and was a fellow of the Clore Leadership Programme (2023–24). She has also served on the board of Theatre UK and as vice chair of the Steering Group that delivered Croydon’s London Borough of Culture programme.
