Mona Jamil
Museum manager at Migration Museum
Mona Jamil is a community-oriented coordinator with experience in co-production. She joined the Migration Museum in 2016 and manages the museum’s volunteering and placement schemes, community engagement initiatives and front-of-house team.
She has previously worked with people seeking sanctuary in a number of capacities, and is a trustee at Refugee Cafe. As the child of refugees, Mona is passionate about work that uplifts those that have been displaced.
Mona studied Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London and the University of Amsterdam. She has recently completed an MSc in Human Rights at the London School of Economics.
