The CEO of the Association for Cultural Enterprises, GORDON MORRISON, has announced he will be stepping down in May to become director of business development at the Renfrewshire culture, leisure and sporting provider, OneRen.

Before joining the Association for Cultural Enterprises in 2023, Morrison spent five years as CEO of the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions and has also held roles including regional quality and tourism manager at VisitScotland and leading commercial and visitor operations at Museums and Galleries Edinburgh.

MELANIE LEWIS, chair of the Association for Cultural Enterprises said: “At a time when our sector faced tremendous challenges, Gordon’s guidance has been instrumental in fostering resilience and growth. We are incredibly thankful for his invaluable contributions and wish him immense success in his new endeavour at OneRen.”

Morrison said: “This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity. The chance to contribute to such a landmark project, in my hometown, was simply too compelling to pass up. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at the association and am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together.”
