Farnham Maltings has appointed PETER GLANVILLE as its new Chief Executive Officer, commencing 23 January next year.

Glanville will join the organisation, which supports the work of artists and communities in South East England, after nine years as Artistic Director and joint CEO of Wimbledon’s Polka Theatre.

During his tenure at Polka, he helped oversee a £9m capital redevelopment of the theatre building and established several festivals which brought neuroscientists together with theatre practitioners.

Glanville said it is a huge privilege to take up the new position at Farnham Maltings.

“The organisation has gained an international reputation for its work supporting artists, as well as establishing the house network of venues across South East England and producing exceptional theatre for rural communities,” Glanville said.

“Together with a committed team, I look forward to building on the exceptional legacy that [outgoing CEO] GAVIN STRIDE has left from his 20 years of leadership.”
