McCrudden joins Arts Council Northern Ireland

ALISON MCCRUDDEN is joining Arts Council of Northern Ireland as joint Head of Literature and Drama. 

She previously worked as a freelance artist, director, writer, actor, arts educator, facilitator and producer, working with many local theatre companies, and stood as Director at the Lyric Theatre Drama Studio. 

A long-standing advocate for the arts, McCrudden founded Brassneck Youth in 2015, a youth theatre based in West Belfast championing access to participatory training to children and young people from disadvantaged areas. 

More recently, McCrudden joined The National Theatre as Mentor Director.
