The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF), which relaunched this year from 15-21 August, has announced three new Trustees.

Additionally, current Trustee, producer AMY JACKSON, has become vice Chair.

The new board members are: TERESA MONEO, Director of UK Film, Netflix; ISLA MACGILLIVRAY, Partner at chartered accountants Saffery; and ROMANA RAMZAN, Producer at No Code Studio.

Chair of EIFF Board ANDREW MACDONALD said that “each bring an incredibly useful and wide-ranging level of expertise and knowledge to the charity”.

He also welcomed “the energy and contribution that each brings to our future planning and ambitions”.

Moneo, who took over the UK original film remit at Netflix in July as part of a restructuring of the London-based film team, said: “I am thrilled to be joining the EIFF Board and to be working with my fellow board members.

“Our collected experience from across the industry will ensure a bright future for EIFF as it champions new filmmaking voices from Scotland, the UK and around the world.”

Ramzan said she looked forward “to working closely with the other Board members, leveraging our diverse experiences to ensure that we achieve a meaningful and lasting impact for EIFF".

MacGillivray added: "EIFF has an incredible film programme and provides further opportunity for Scotland to showcase its continuing industry growth as well as being a platform for filmmakers across the UK and internationally."
