MONIQUE BAPTISTE-BROWN and TRISH THOMAS have joined Arts Marketing Association (AMA) as board members.

Baptiste-Brown is Head of Marketing and Audience Development at Brixton House, where she oversaw the organisation's rebrand from Ovalhouse as it moved into a purpose-built theatre in Brixton.

She said she is “thrilled” to have the opportunity to contribute to developing and supporting arts marketers across the cultural sector.

“I’ve had a career-long relationship with the AMA as a member and London Regional Associate, and it's an honour to now be able to give back and share the knowledge gained.”

Thomas is a former Head of Digital Engagement at Southbank Centre. She is now Head of Digital Innovation at Museum of London, leading its digital transformation towards the opening of its new site in West Smithfield.

Having worked with AMA since 2020 to improve digital skills and knowledge across the sector, Thomas said she is excited to bring “valuable insights” to the board.

“I’m hoping to use my knowledge and hands-on experience to be an advocate on a very practical level for how our sector can invest in digital in sustainable ways in order to help grow engaged audiences, drive revenue and build loyalty as well as to help us all work more efficiently,” she added.
