New Chair and Trustees for Horsecross Arts

Horsecross Arts, the charity behind Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall, has appointed Dr COLIN HOOD (pictured) to strengthen the organisation’s governance. He was formerly Deputy Chief Executive of Perth-based SSE, previously served as Chair of Scotia Gas Networks, Chair of Southern Water and Non-Executive Director at First Group, and was on the board of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. He succeeds Interim Chair STEVEN STEWART, who is Director of Communications with Stagecoach Group, and will be joined by two further trustees. VANESSA RAWLINGS-JACKSON, formerly General Manager of Perth Theatre and now Executive Director of the cultural organisational development agency Cultivate, and PETER FOTHERINGHAM, Deputy Director of Finance for Dundee University, who has also held senior finance roles at Highland Spring and the Edrington Group.
