New chair at Cornwall’s Wildworks

DAVID PRIOR has been appointed chair of the board of trustees at Cornwall-based landscape theatre company Wildworks.

A composer, artist and academic leader with a background in music, sound art and multidisciplinary collaboration, Prior is also pro vice-chancellor of research and knowledge exchange at Falmouth University.

In his new role, Prior will work alongside Wildworks’ recently-appointed joint CEOs, GWENDOLEN SCOLDING and NATHAN JACKSON.

“It’s a real honour to be able to serve this incredible organisation, which has done so much for the cultural fabric of Cornwall, and consistently operates at the boundaries of theatre-making,” Prior said.

“Wildworks’ portfolio is dizzying, and I’m excited to be playing a part in the company’s exciting future.”
