A producer and consultant, Mokuolu is the founder of Hatch Ideas Worldwide and co-founder of the Asa Baako Festival in Ghana.

She has over 20 years’ experience as an independent producer, with credits including festival director for Amnesty at Edinburgh Festivals. She has delivered mentoring at organisations such as Historic England and Tate Galleries and worked with clients including the British Council, Goethe Institute and King’s College London.

Mokuolu said: “I’m honoured to be Worthing Theatres and Museum’s new chair. My vision is to create a place where everyone can experience culture in its many forms and where we continue to evolve while respecting Worthing’s unique heritage.”

AMANDA O’REILLY, CEO and artistic director said of Mokuolu: “Her incredible breadth of experience in the arts and culture sectors, combined with her passion for community engagement, makes her the perfect person to help champion WTM into the next exciting phase of growth.

“Yemisi’s vision for inclusivity and creative sustainability aligns perfectly with our mission, and we look forward to working closely to achieve our goals”.
