New trustees appointed to the Royal Academy

The Royal Academy of Arts (RA) have announced two new trustees, ROBBIE ROBINSON and KATY WICKREMESINGHE, to join the Royal Academy Trust.

They join the RA’s current Board of Trustees, including LADY ALISON MYNERS as Chair and ROB SUSS as Deputy Chair. 

Myners, on behalf of the RA Trust, said they are excited to welcome both Robinson and Wickremesinghe. 

“With their impressive business and cultural backgrounds, they will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Trust,” she added. 

Robinson is the Co-Founder and CEO of Pendulum Holdings, LLC, the strategic growth investing and advisory platform for founders and leaders.

With an interest in investment, advisory and financing capacities, Robinson began his career with Goldman Sachs & Co., the investment bank and financial services company.  
 
Robinson is a trustee of the Los Angeles County Museum of Arts, council member of the National Museum of African American History & Culture and Board Member of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. 

Wickremesinghe is a British-Sri Lankan founder and CEO of KTW, a London-based strategic content, communications and development consultancy. 

Over lockdown, Wickremesinghe founded The Wick, a cultural content hub that aims to connect cultural audiences with specialist content and programming across digital and in-person platforms. 

She is a trustee of the Dulwich Picture Gallery, sits on the advisory board of The Line and is a cultural advisor for CogX. Wickremesinghe also serves as a patron of the V&A Museum, Serpentine Future Contemporaries and The Association of Women in the Arts.
