New trustees for Liverpool theatres

The Liverpool and Merseyside Theatres Trust (LMTT), a charity that oversees the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse theatres, has named three new trustees.

They are SAPHENA AZIZ, currently director of inclusion and workforce development at Curious Minds, JULIE LEDDER, head of HR operations at the University of Liverpool and PAUL KALLEE-GROVER, who brings more than 25 years’ experience in cultural business advisory and capital regeneration to the role.

Chair of the board ANDREA NIXON said that with the appointment of the new trio, the trust “is well-positioned to continue its mission of enriching the cultural fabric of Liverpool City Region and supporting diverse voices in the arts”.

Nixon also thanked outgoing trustees AMY CAUSLEY and MIKE CLARKE “for their outstanding service and support over their tenures”.

LMTT says it will begin to look for other trustees in January as other tenures conclude.
