Paynton to join Art in Healthcare as Executive Director

Scottish charity Art in Healthcare has announced VANESSA PAYNTON as its new Executive Director. Having worked in the cultural sector in Scotland for over twenty years, she is currently Director of Public Programmes and Facilities at international residency centre Cove Park. Her previous roles have been at Macrobert Arts Centre, the Village Storytelling Centre, Glasgow Film, Glasgow Life and the Six Cities Design Festival.

She will take up her new role in May, promoting the display of the charity’s art collection in healthcare settings throughout Scotland, and through its social prescribing work, Room for Art.
