Rowell joins Activate as Trainee Producer

Dorset-based performing arts charity Activate has welcomed ARCHIE ROWELL as Trainee Producer.

Rowell is an actor and Artistic Director of Dorset’s OffPiste Theatre, a National Youth Theatre Associate Company exploring film, theatre and combined arts. 

Since Rowell set up the company in 2019 during the second year of his A-Levels, OffPiste has transitioned from a theatre company to production company, aiming to showcase underrepresented stories, and bridge the opportunity gap in the South West. 

At Activate, he will manage their CREATE! programme, a course for emerging Dorset-based creatives to develop their understanding of the development and delivery of artistic projects and events, and assist the organisation in improving performing arts’ accessibility for the local community.
