Glasgow's Scottish Ensemble has confirmed MORAG BURNETT as Chair.

Succeeding JEFF FERGUS, Burnett has served as a trustee on the board of Scottish Ensemble for the past three years.

She is currently Head of Governance and Operations at The Promise Scotland, an organisation guiding changes outlined by the government's Independent Care Review.

Burnett began her career in arts management at Edinburgh International Festival. For 25 years, she has worked with international development organisations in Honduras, the Dominican Republic, New York, London and Tbilisi, focusing on strategy, governance and change.

Burnett said she is "proud to have the opportunity to contribute to Scottish Ensemble's future".

"Innovation and collaboration are in Scottish Ensemble's DNA, and I can't wait to help steer this trailblazing group's next chapter."
