Tharp takes interim CEO role at Eclipse

KENNETH OLUMUYIWA THARP has joined Eclipse Theatre as Interim Chief Executive until July 2021. Currently working as a freelance arts and culture consultant, he had a 25-year career as a performer, choreographer, teacher and director, and became Chief Executive of contemporary dance development centre The Place. He was most recently Director of The Africa Centre. He will lead on Eclipse’s overall strategy, with oversight of the 2021 artistic programme, and will work with the Eclipse board and team on the transition to a new creative and executive leadership.
