London’s Vagina Museum has announced STACEY-LEIGH DOLAN will be its new chair and has confirmed interim director ZOE WILLIAMS in post substantively.

Dolan recently joined Manchester’s National Football Museum as head of programmes after previously holding various roles at London Transport Museum, including community and participation manager.

Head of communications and fundraising at the Vagina Museum since 2019, Williams has been interim director since May 2024, following the departure of founder FLORENCE SCHECHTER.

Dolan said: “I’m excited to use my community-driven experience to lead the Vagina Museum into a new era of stability.

“I’m aiming to grow the reach and impact of the museum while maintaining its magic as a vibrant, welcoming, accessible and educational space for all.

“These are challenging times for the sector, and it will be a tough task to build resilience while delivering world-class, high-impact programming, but I am confident that the passionate and diverse team of staff and trustees will rise to the challenge.”
