The new board members are: XIYAO CHEN; MARY JANE EDWARDS; CIARA FITZGIBBON; and ADAM PEAVOY

An architect, artist and educator, Chen has designed museum and public spaces for the V&A East, Sadler’s Wells Theatre and Museum of London.

Hosting artists’ residencies, art exhibitions, and a range of art events this year, Wysing will begin a major capital project with a focus on ‘accessibility, green energy, and improved biodiversity’. The organisation will also be launching a new website and re-brand.

Chen said she was thrilled “to oversee the capital project and to work towards wider long-term sustainable and ecological transitions at Wysing”.

Peavoy added: “With my experience in urban design. I’m excited to help develop plans for more integration with the city of Cambridge at Wysing and to support plans for widening accessibility to artistic practice.”
