Staying ahead: EDI policy developments

EDI is a significant factor and does have its place in the debate about access to funding opportunities. However, there should be no ‘soft options’ for people from diverse backgrounds. I say this experience; we have won significant support and funding based on the merit and competitiveness of our applications. We would not want this competitive edge of our productions to be compromised. No one should be guaranteed funding at the outset!
