Creative data
An ambitious online database for London’s cultural and creative industry has been launched by academics from the Centre for Research on London. Made free to policymakers, service providers and the public at large, the independent database aims to collate summaries of pieces of research, bibliographical details and relevant links on the capital’s arts output in one place. Everything will be searchable by theme, keyword, cultural/creative sector or London borough and users will be able to add and edit entries. The project, ‘Researching Cultural and Creative Industries in London’ (RCCIL), was funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England’s Innovation Fund.
