38% of West End performers are BAME, study finds
Over a third of performers in West End musicals are BAME, but BAME men and women are twice as likely to be given an ensemble role than a named role, according to new research by The Stage. The opposite is true for white men, for whom there are more performers in named roles than ensemble members.
