Events support companies whose emergency grants were delayed have finally had their period of use extended, alleviating fears they wouldn't be able to spend them.

However, many are still waiting to be paid: ACE says it is "in the process of releasing payments for all organisations [that] have been on hold" now.

The funder also confirmed their receipt of Coronavirus Business Interruption Loans (CBILs) would not affect the amount they were offered.

ACE has apologised for the delay and the "concern and confusion" it caused and says it was not able to offer extensions until now.
