Backlash after Polish gallery takes down suggestive banana art

Despite having been on display for several years, a 1973 video showing a woman eating a banana was removed after the head of the National Museum in Warsaw was summoned to the Ministry of Culture. In response, dozens of people in Poland posted pictures of themselves eating bananas in protest and planned a mass banana-eating outside the museum.
