Birmingham Royal Ballet plans £2.7m refurbishments

The company plans to install new mirrored rehearsal studios and offices at its Thorp Street base, where the studios have been untouched for 23 years. Arts Council England has granted the project £1.85m, and the company hopes to raise the rest from fundraising and private sources.
