Dublin’s Project Arts Centre has been ordered to paint over a mural calling for the repeal of the 8th amendment to the Irish Constitution, which creates protection for a foetal right to life. Protestors have gathered outside the centre to challenge the decision, which the Charities Regulator says is because the mural is ‘political activity’ and in breach of the Charities Act 2009.
