Edinburgh Science Festival cuts ties with fossil fuel sponsors

Fossil fuel companies will no longer be able to back the 2019 event because the organisers feel “increasingly compromised” when programming environmentally-focused events. The festival says the oil and gas sector is “not moving fast enough” to address climate change.
