Foul play suspected in auction of Hertfordshire council art collection

Concerns have been raised that an online bidder may have been deliberately pushing up prices among the 82 prints, drawings and paintings the council controversially put up for auction last week. A ‘hold’ has been put on the sale of all items bid on by the individual, and they may be put up for auction again.
