Glasgow School of Art hit by second fire in four years
The Mackintosh building, which was undergoing a £35m restoration, was hit by a blaze on Friday evening and attended by 120 firefighters and 20 fire engines. There is now a growing consensus that the building, said to have received extensive damage to the roof, the floors and the interiors, may have to be knocked down.
