Manchester Science Festival loses partners in protest at links to Shell

Three of the 160 partners withdrew from the event, organised by the Science and Industry Museum, after hearing Shell would be sponsoring the centrepiece exhibition. A petition protesting ties between the festival and the oil giant has reached 57,000 signatures.
