More delays to opening of Croydon’s Fairfield Halls

The re-opening gala is set for June 2019, a year later than promised when the arts centre closed for refurbishment in July 2016. The main construction work was delayed until September 2017, and council sources suggest the building's concert hall will look no different post-renovation.
