Multimillion-pound digital arts school in Manchester gets green light

SODA, the proposed five-storey £30m institution, is due to be built behind Manchester Metropolitan University’s student union by 2021. The project – which will include digital laboratories, studios and production suites – has been backed by producer Nicola Shindler, film director Danny Boyle and the local council.
