£1m from BP boosts Aberdeen gallery plans

Aberdeen Arts Gallery, which has been closed for refurbishment since 2015, has accepted £1m from the oil giant to create the 'BP Galleries' in a copper-clad second-floor extension. The sponsorship will enable the gallery to host three special exhibitions each year by national and international artists.
