Royal Opera House to appeal musician hearing loss ruling

The venue has been granted permission to challenge a ruling by the High Court in March that it was culpable under noise at work regulations for a viola player’s hearing loss, sustained during rehearsals in 2012. The appeal is expected to take place next year.
