Sky Arts live TV to be available on Freeview

The UK's only TV channel dedicated to culture, Sky Arts, will be made available on open access FreeviewTV from September, though on-demand content will remain exclusive to Sky subscribers and Now TV entertainment pass customers. Previously available only as part of a Sky subscription, the Arts channel says it is making the move as part of a mission to champion and celebrate creativity, motivated by a sense of corporate social responsibility rather than money or chasing viewers.
