Threatened theatre to become driverless car test site

Dudley Council has given the green light to plans to turn Dudley Hippodrome, derelict since 2009, into a site for testing driverless vehicles. The Theatres Trust says that should these proposals prove unviable, it will renew its campaign to turn the building back into a theatre.
