A series of Open Sessions across Scotland will give the public the chance to have their say on the future operational and policy direction of Creative Scotland (CS). Guest speakers, group discussions and open debate will focus on how CS can best support a vision for the arts, screen and creative industries and get the balance right between these three sectors, and explore how best to take advantage of current challenges and opportunities. Taking place in Dundee,  Edinburgh, Greenock,  Inverness and Skye in March and April, the sessions are being held as part of the organisation’s programme of change, which was announced following high profile criticism of CS by Scotland’s artists of CS policies and practices, which led to the departure of former Chief Executive Andrew Dixon.
